Vivo have just announced a new iQOO U3 smartphone in China, compactible with 5G network speed and offering octa-core Dimensity CPU from Mediatek. The device is actually a mid-range 5G smartphone sporting a 6.58-inches screen, with 1080 x 2408 Full-HD+ display resolution. There is a dewdrop notch overhead and a single 8-megapixel selfie camera is seating right in there.
On the backside, there are a combination of 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth lens in dual camera setup, along with a single LED flash.
The SoC on the inside is the Dimensity 800U 5G Chipset. It has 8-cores CPUs clocked at 2.4GHz pegged with Mali G57 GPU. There is either 6/8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage, while a built-in Liquid cooling system ensures that the device remains stable during demanding usage.
You are also getting a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 5000mAh built-in battery with 18W fast charging, USB Type-C and Bluetooth 5.1. It comes in 164.15 x 75.35 x 8.4 mm body, weighs 185.5 grams and boot Google Android 10 with iQOO UI 1.5 out of the box.

Vivo’s iQOO U3 is comes in Black and Aurora colors. It is currently on pre-order in China via vivo’s official store. As for pricing, the base model with 6GB RAM is a 1498 yuan, while the 8GB RAM has 1698 yuan price tag, translating to 229 and 259 US dollars respectively.
