Vivo has launched a new addition to its Y-series lineup, the Vivo Y28s 5G. This smartphone focuses on affordability while offering access to 5G connectivity. The processing power is Dimensity 6300 from med, and it is got a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charger.
Vivo Y28s 5G Specifications and Features
The Vivo Y28s 5G borrows the design elements from the Vivo Y18e, including the display, battery, and chassis.
However, it boasts a significant upgrade under the hood with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, replacing the older Helio G85 chip and enabling 5G connectivity. This processor should have almost similar performance with the Dimentiy 6020 CPU.
The phone is available in three memory configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Users who need additional storage can expand it further using a microSD card.
The display is a 6.56-inch IPS panel with a standard 720 x 1612 resolution and a slightly increased 90Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals.
The Vivo Y28s 5G packs a decent 5000mAh battery, but fast charging is limited to 15W.
In terms of cameras, the phone features an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. On the back, there’s a dual camera system with a 50MP main sensor and a secondary 2MP sensor.
The phone includes an NFC module for contactless payments and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security.
