Vivo has launched the Vivo X30 and the X30 Pro in China. The smartphone has been on the rumour mill for about 2weeks now and today, the Chinese phone giant has announced the phone today. This device is a camera centric device, not only that though, it still comes with some nice features such as 60x digital zoom, a minuscule hole-punch camera, 5G support, eye-tracking, Super Night Mode 2.0, and Hyper HDR for great shots irrespective of lighting conditions.

The standard X30 comes with a triple camera set-up while the X30 Pro comes with a quad rear cameras. The device is powered by the latest Exynos 980 chipset which supports both NSA as well as SA modes for 5G. The maximum download speed for the modem on the Exynos 980 is 3.55Gbps. Vivo X30 8GB + 128GB is priced at CNY 3298 in China while the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 3598. On the other hand, the X30 Pro with 8GB + 128GB is priced at CNY 3998 while the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 4298.

For the specs of the Vivo X30, on the front, it has a 6.44-inch display. It’s a Full HD+ display which means it has a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels. The device has a PPI of 409 and 20:9 aspect ratio. It’s a Super Amoled panel screen with 85.3% screen to body ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by Exynos 980 Chip which has an Octa core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, it runs on Android 9 pie with FuntouchOS 10 out of the box and Mali-G76 MP5 for graphics or gaming. The processor is also paired with a 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM.

In terms of camera, this device spot a triple rear cameras which are the 64mp camera with f/1.8 aperture accompanied by a led flash, 32mp telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture and 8mp ultra-wide with f/2.2 aperture, on the front, it has 32mp selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture, both the front and back camera records video in 1080p at 30fps. What is keeping the light on is a 4350mAh Li-Po battery which supports fast charging upto 33W.
