Vivo Y35 announced in Nigeria with Snapdragon 680 and N162,900 price tag

The Nigerian wing of Vivo Mobile have just introduced the Y35 smartphone in the country. The device which runs Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 CPU has 8GB, comes in a 6.58-inches Full-HD+ screen, and offered to Nigerians at a N162,900 price tag.

The Vivo Y35 is a recent smartphone that was released back in August. The rear design of the phone looks very similar to the more pricier V25-series. It has three camera lenses on the rear, of which the primary sensor is capped at 50-megapixels.

The 6.58-inches screen on the front is an IPS panel featuring 550-nits of brightness, 90Hz refresh and a water-dropping notch on the head. The model introduced in Nigeria comes with 8GB RAM, paired with another 8GB Dynamic RAM, along with 128-Gigs of built-in storage.

Note that the model announced in Nigeria boot Google Android 12 with Funtouch 12 OS out of the box. The international model that was announced in August also has Funtouch v12, but it is based on Android 11 out of the box.

Apart from the OS, another interesting aspect of the Vivo Y35 smartphone lies within the battery compartment. Although the device has a 5000mAh battery which is standard on most mid-range smartphones, but it is backed by a faster 44W charger, and the company is promising 70% charge in just 34 minutes.

The Vivo Y35 is already on pre-order in Nigeria. Those participating in the pre-ordering are required to make an initial deposit of N5000. But the final pricing of the phone will be pegged at N162,900 in Nigeria. The phone is available in Dawn Gold and Agate Black, and it is sold via both online and offline streams.
