Earlier this year, precisely January, Tecno announced the Camon CM, which we thought was the successor of the Tecno camon CX of last year. The Specs of Camon CM were decent enough, but the device was not worth the tile of the Camon CX. But then today, Tecno took to stage to announce the Camon X and the X Pro, which are the real successor of Camon CX and CX. Tecno Camon X and Camon X Pro: Differences
The table above says it all. Both the Camon X might looking practically similar, but get into the hood, and you’ll Tecno’s trick. The trick is for the good though, especially for folks who are not willing to dish out much on a smartphone. As a result, Tecno decided to:
- Crash down the display on the Camon X to HD+, with 1440 x 720p display resolution, instead of the Full-HD+ display used on the Camon X pro. What this literally mean is that the Camon X Pro is able to produce 397 pixels per inch (PPI) as against the 265 PPI on the Camon X. Meaning that, display, text and color reproduction is more gorgeous on the X pro than the X.
- There is also a switch in memory department. 3GB and 16GB storage as against the larger 4GB RAM and 64GB storage on the camon x pro.
- And then, you are not getting same front facing camera sensor on same smartphone too. Tecno camon X is given 20-megapixel front facing camera as against the larger 24-megapixel on the camon x pro. Hey, in my opinion 20-megapixel is big already.
- And finally is pricing. One thing you can be sure of is, the reason for the calculated differences and adjustment above is simply because, Tecno wants to please a larger audience at different pricing bracket.
