itel have just announced the S24 Android smartphone. The device is the latest budget offer from itel Mobile, serving as the successor to the current S23 series. It boasts some notable improvements, particularly in processing power and camera capabilities. Here’s a closer look at the key features and specs of itel’s all new S24 smartphone<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Processing Power<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The S24 is the world’s first smartphone to sport MediaTek’s Helio G91 chipset, an affordable 4G gaming CPU. This chipset offers enhanced performance compared to the Tiger T606 found in previous S23 4G. It features two Cortex-A75 CPUs clocked at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 CPUs at 1.8GHz. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a better understanding, the Helio G91 shares similar specifications and power with the older Helio G88 and the Helio G85, however, the ISP on the G91 is slightly better than the previous models<\/strong>. ISP refers to the Image Signal Processor, so better ISP usually means better or faster image processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The phone comes in several storage variants: 128GB ROM with 4GB or 8GB RAM, and 256GB ROM with 8GB RAM. There’s also the option to virtually expand the RAM by up to an additional 8GB on each model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The S24 marks a significant leap for iTel in the camera department. It’s the first phone from the brand to boast a whopping 108-megapixel main sensor, a massive upgrade from the previous generation’s 50-megapixel limit. Accompanying the main sensor is a QVGA depth sensor, while an 8-megapixel selfie camera sits within the punch-hole display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The S24 features a large 6.6-inch display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate for a more responsive user experience. However, the display resolution remains at 720 x 1600 pixels using an LCD panel. Don’t forget that the older S23 4G also came with a similar display panel, except that it uses a dewdrop notch, instead of the punched hole notch on the newcomer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Battery<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Coming to the battery compartment, the S24 packs a decent 5000mAh battery, which should provide ample power for daily use. It comes with an 18W wired USB Type-C charger for faster charging, another similar setup from the previous S23 4G.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
