HMD Global, the company behind Nokia, has launched its latest budget smartphone, the Nokia C22, in India. The device was first introduced at MWC earlier this year and promises impressive features at an affordable price point.

The Nokia C22 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ screen and is powered by Unisoc 9863A1 SoC. It also has up to 4GB of RAM with additional 2GB of virtual RAM and runs on Android 13 Go Edition. The smartphone is equipped with a 13MP rear and an 8MP front camera, and boasts of IP52 splash and dust protection.

The Nokia C22 packs a 5000 mAh battery that promises up to 3 days of battery life. It also features a toughened 2.5D display glass and a rigid metal chassis, housed within a strong polycarbonate unibody design. The device runs on Android 13 (Go edition) and comes with a promise of two years of quarterly security updates.

The Nokia C22 is available in two variants – a 2GB RAM model and a 4GB RAM model. The 2GB RAM model is priced at Rs. 7999 (or $98) while the 4GB RAM model costs Rs. 8,499 (or $103). The device comes in Charcoal, Sand and Purple colors and is already on preorder from Nokia.com and offline stores.
