A fresh update is now officially sending to owners of Samsung Galaxy A70, bringing in One UI 2.5 based on Google Android 10, along with November 2020 Android security patch. The firmware comes with version number A705FNXXU5CTK, and weighs around 1.4GB in size.

Only the Ukrainian version of the Galaxy A70 sold by Kyivstar is currently getting this update, but is expected to roll out into additional markets across Europe and other regions within the upcoming days/weeks.

Other interesting feature of update includes the presence of new Samsung Split Keyboard features in landscape mode, improvements to YouTube search, inclusion of Bitmoji stickers on Always On Display, and a new SOS location sharing features added to Messages.

You can download the latest firmware by tapping the update notification once it comes to your phone, or probably check for it manually by clicking on Settings >> Software update.

You will recall that the Galaxy A70 has been around since the month of March of 2019. The device initially came on Google Android 9 Pie, but was pushed to Android 10 with One UI 2.0 earlier this year. As for specifications, it came in a 6.7-inch Full HD+ screen with Super AMOLED Infinity-U panel.

On the inside is the octa-core Snapdragon 675 processor, 6/8GB RAM and a built-in 4,500mAh battery. A triple camera modules are used at the rear, which includes a 32-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel depth-sensing camera, while a 32-megapixel selfie shooter seats in the notch upfront.
