Samsung continues to push Google Android 12 OS update to the company’s smartphones, flagship and entry-level alike. The latest receiver of these updates is the entry-level Samsung’s Galaxy A03s that was announced back in August of 2021.
The Android 12 update for the Galaxy A03s has firmware number A037FXXU1BVFB, and it is base on the company’s One UI 4.1. It brings the June 2022 security patch to fix above 60 privacy and security vulnerabilities.
As you’d expect, this updates is currently being pushed in batches, starting from Serbian owners. You should receive a notification to update by default, but on the contrary, you may head over to Settings » Software update to apply this new OS for your phone.
In addition to improved privacy and security issues, the new operating system also brings revamp UI design, thanks to the new Material You design of One UI 4.x. The update also brings more lock screen and customizable widgets.
There is now an added dashboard for camera and microphone usage control, and you can even turn them on/of right from the lock screen. You are also getting updated Samsung Keyboard, which brings more stickers, GIFs, animated emoji pairs, and many more features.
As far as Android OS update is concerned, Samsung is currently one of the top OEMs doing all it can to keep to it update promises. The Galaxy A03s itself was announced back in August of 2021, and it booted Google Android 11 OS with One UI 3.1 out of the box. The phone came in a 6.5-inchs HD+ screen, powered by Helio P35 Chipset, and fueled by a 5000mAh battery.
