Benco has announced the V91, the successor to the V90. The V91 comes with a mix of upgrades and downgrades, but overall it is a solid budget smartphone.

One of the biggest upgrades is the processor. The V91 is powered by the UNISOC Tiger T606 CPU, which is a significant improvement over the SC9863A CPU in the V90. The T606 CPU is more powerful and efficient, which should lead to better performance and battery life.

Another upgrade is the operating system. The V91 runs Android 13, which is the latest version of Android from Google. In comparison, the older V90 came with Google Android 12 out of the box.

Also, the 5000mAh battery on the V91, which is the same battery capacity used on the older V90 is now fitted with an 18W fast charger.

However, the V91 also has some downgrades compared to the V90. The screen is smaller, at 6.56 inches instead of 6.82 inches. The camera has also been downgraded, from 16 megapixels to 13 megapixels.
