UMIDIGI has announced that it will be releasing the A15 and G5 series of smartphones in the third quarter of 2023. The A15 series will consists of the A15 and A15C, while the G5 series will includes the vanilla G5, G5C, and G5A.

The A15 series and G5 series boast a number of upgrades over the previous A13 and G3 series, including a more stylish design, larger displays, better cameras, and more powerful processors.

In terms of design, the A15 series and G5 series will feature a shiny AG matte compost material design for the back panel. This gives the phones a premium look and feel, while also making them resistant to fingerprints and smudges. The phones will also have extremely thin edges, measuring 8.6mm for the A15 series, and 8.8mm for the G5 series.

The displays on the A15 series and G5 series have also been upgraded. The A15 and A15C will have a 6.7″ HD+ display, while the G5 and G5C will be given a 6.6″ HD+ display. The G5A on the other hand will have a 6.52″ HD+ display. All of the displays have super slim bezels on all 4 sides, which enhances the content viewing experience.

The cameras on the A15 series and G5 series have also been upgraded. The A15 will have a triple camera setup at the back, featuring a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens.

The A15C will come with a dual camera setup at the back, featuring a 48MP primary lens and a 2MP depth lens. The G5 and G5C will have a dual camera setup at the back, featuring a 50MP primary lens and a 2MP depth lens. The G5A however, will have a single 13MP primary lens at the back.

The processors on the A15 series and G5 series will also be upgraded. The vanilla A15 will get Unisoc’s T616 chipset, while the A15C and G5 are given the Tiger T606 Chipset. The G5C and G5A on the other hand will opt for the MediaTek G36 and A22 respectively SoCs respectively.

The A15 offers a generous 8+8GB extended RAM and 256GB of storage, while the A15C, G5, and G5C all share the same 128GB storage. The G5A comes with 4+4GB extended RAM and 64GB ROM.

Finally, the battery life on the A15 series and G5 series will also be impressive. All of the phones are equipped with a 5000mAh battery. The A15 will get a faster 20W fast charging, while the other four models will retain 10W fast charging.

UMIDIGI has also confirmed that both the A15 and the G5 series will be available in varying colors. For example, the A15 series will come in a total of five colors including Space Gray, Jade Green, Lavender Purple, Pearl White and Graphite Black.
