Apple announced the new MacBook Pro 2023 lineup few hours ago, and both the 14 and the 16-inches screen options are powered by the company’s new M3 family of chips. The new MacBook Pros feature brighter displays, longer battery life, and faster performance than previous models, and if there is any key details you wish to know, then read on.
All About 2023 Apple MacBook Pro 14 and 16-inches
The new MacBook Pros feature Liquid Retina XDR displays that are 20% brighter in SDR content (up to 600 nits) and reach 1600 nits of peak brightness in HDR mode. This makes them the brightest displays in any laptop, according to Apple.
Thanks to the energy efficiency of the new M3 chips (it is a 3nm architecture by the way), the MacBook Pro 2023 models can now last up to 22 hours on a single charge. This is a significant improvement over previous models, which had a battery life of around 17-18 hours.
Apple says the MacBook Pro 2023 is up to 11 times faster than the best older Intel-based MacBook Pro models. This is thanks to the new M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max chips, which offer significant performance improvements over the previous generation M2 series.
