Lenovo has officially announced the specifications for the Xiaoxin Pro 14 AI superbook, showcasing significant improvements over the 2023 model. The new laptop, equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors and an 84Wh battery, is set to be featured in Lenovo’s 2024 new product launch conference at 17:30 on January 17.
Key Features:
- Processor and Graphics: Users can choose between Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and Ultra 5 125H processors. The laptop boasts an Intel ARC core graphics card, providing a 2x performance increase and supporting ray tracing and XeSS.
- AI Technology: Lenovo introduces a new independent AI engine NPU, enhancing the device’s overall artificial intelligence capabilities.
- Memory and Storage: The Xiaoxin Pro 14 2024 offers up to 32GB of 7467MT/s LPDDR5x memory and dual PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 hard drive bays with a standard 1TB SSD.
- Display: An optional OLED version with a 2.8K 120Hz display offers 600 nits brightness, covering 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and supporting dual Rheinland eye protection certification.
- Cooling System: The device features an Extreme Fengshen+ cooling system with a high-performance 3D composite heat pipe and innovative air duct design.
- Battery Life: With an 84Wh battery, the Xiaoxin Pro 14 2024 delivers a local video battery life of approximately 25.2 hours and a real daily simulation battery life of about 10.38 hours.
- Interfaces: The laptop includes 2C interfaces (including Thunderbolt 4 with additional support for 20Gbps new speed), 2A, HDMI, and an SD card reader.
Lenovo will also launch other models during the conference, including the Xiaoxin 15 2024 and Xiaoxin Pro 16 2024. The Xiaoxin Pro 16 2024, powered by the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor will start from 5,799 yuan for 16G + 1T and 5,999 yuan for 32G + 1T, and equivalent of 809 and 837 USD respectively. Pricing and other details for the other models will be unveiled at the company’s live conference later today in China.
