The upcoming Galaxy S26 series might not bring a major leap in camera performance, but Samsung could finally be addressing one of its most requested updates — faster wireless charging. A new leak suggests that the brand is set to raise its wireless charging speed to 25W.
According to information shared by tipster @Jukanlosreve, citing a report from ET News, Samsung plans to enhance wireless charging speeds across all three models in the Galaxy S26 lineup. After maintaining a 15W limit for nearly six years, the new series is expected to boost speeds to 20W and 25W, depending on the model.
More specifically, the leak indicates that the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus will support 20W wireless charging, while the premium Galaxy S26 Ultra will go up to 25W. Although this still falls behind several Chinese competitors offering 50W or more, it’s a notable step forward for Samsung.
This upgrade could reduce charging times by up to 40 percent compared to the existing 15W standard, making wireless charging far more convenient for everyday users.
Besides charging improvements, the leak also mentions that Samsung has finalized the display sizes and dimensions for all three models. While @Jukanlosreve didn’t reveal these details, well-known leaker Ice Universe has shared them.
The standard Galaxy S26 will reportedly come with a 6.3-inch display and a slim 149.4 x 71.5 x 6.9 mm body. The S26 Plus is expected to keep its 6.7-inch screen and similar dimensions at 158.4 x 75.8 x 7.3 mm. The top-tier S26 Ultra will feature a larger 6.9-inch display and measure 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.8 mm.
Lastly, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to be powered exclusively by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, setting it apart as the most powerful device in the series.
