New real world photos of the Xiaomi 18 Pro series have appeared online, offering a closer look at the design of Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship lineup. The latest images were posted by the well known leaker Digital Chat Station.

The leaked photos indicate that the rear camera setup now sits level with the secondary display, giving the back panel a cleaner appearance compared with the previous generation. According to the tipster, Xiaomi’s Leica triple camera system will cover a focal range between 17 mm and 75 mm. The periscope telephoto camera is said to feature 3.2x optical zoom, while the main sensor reportedly has an f/1.67 aperture and the telephoto camera uses an f/2.4 aperture. These changes could provide a more practical optical zoom range while also helping the main camera capture more light in darker conditions.

Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro series will launch sometime this month. The company describes the lineup as the biggest upgrade ever made to its numbered digital series, with major improvements expected across performance, photography, battery endurance and artificial intelligence capabilities. The latest leak adds another layer of excitement as the official launch draws closer.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi has revealed additional details about the secondary display introduced with last year’s models. Daily interactions with application cards on the rear screen have reportedly exceeded 4 million, while more than 3.5 million wallpapers are added to the secondary display each day. The rear screen has become one of the standout design elements of Xiaomi’s recent Pro smartphones, and the company appears ready to expand its functionality further.

With a flatter camera arrangement, updated Leica lenses covering a useful range from wide angle to telephoto, and Xiaomi promising a substantial generational upgrade, the Xiaomi 18 Pro appears to be targeting improvements in both everyday usability and mobile photography.
