When Nokia announced that some of it smartphones will get Android 10 update, we thought that the Nokia 7.2 was among few of those devices to get the update first, but it was unfortunately not so. However, like the heading said; better late than never right, as HMD Global has officially released Android 10 update for the Nokia 7.2.

Th Nokia 7.2 becomes the 8th device on the list of Nokia phones upgraded to Android 10. The list includes the Nokia 8.1, Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 2.2, and now, the Nokia 7.2. The 7.2 Android 10 update labelled V2.250, is about 1.57GB in size and also includes Android security patch for March 2020.
Android 10 brings number of additional privacy and security features for users, as well as Dark Theme, Focus mode, dedicated ‘Privacy section’, and lots more. Some other key features of the new updates includes;
- Dark Mode — Take it wasy on your eyes
- Smart reply — Save more time with recommended aactions
- Gesture navigation — Get around with a swipe and a pull
- Additional controls for privacy and location
- Google Security Patch (2020-03)
As a reminder, the Nokia 7.2 was launched last year running Android 9.0 (Pie). The device came in a 6.3-inch Full-HD display, and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 CPU, along with 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB internal storage. We reviewed the 6GB RAM version and you can read our experience here.
One worthy aspect of the device as revealed in our review was the camera optics, which were made up of 48 MP + 8 MP + 5 MP at the back, and a 20 MP selfie shooter upfront. Meanwhile, if you are yet to get notified of the Android 10 updates, you could simply refresh the software update section under your phone setting.
