Infinix had hinted that it was launching some set of Zero device on the 5th of October, including a flagship Zero Ultra Book laptop. On the official note and event, we saw Zero 20 and Zero Ultra smartphone, but nothing was said about the most anticipated Zero Book-series. Well, 5-days has passed since the event, and today, we have all the specs you should know about the Infinix Zero Book and the Zero Book Ultra.

With these new set of Infinix devices it means we now have Infinix Zero smartphones, Infinix Zero Smart TVs, and now there is the Zero Book laptop lineups. Note that the Zero moniker are Infinix line of flagship devices, and that is exactly where the new Zero Book series falls into. There are the companies flagship laptop series. The series includes the Zero Book and the Zero Book Ultra.

Differences between Infinix Zero Book and the Zero Book Ultra

As far as specification and design are concerned, both the Zero Book, and the Zero Book Ultra are basically the same except for their CPU and RAM options.

The Zero Book is available in two CPU options; either: 12th Gen Intel Core-i5 (12500H) with up to 12-core CPUs and 80EU Iris Xe GPU, or Intel Core-i7 (12700H) with up to 14-core CPUs and 96EU Iris Xe GPU. These two options are given a single 16GB RAM.

The Zero Book Ultra on the other hands comes in a single CPU option; a 12th Gen Intel Core-i9 14-core CPU with the same 96EU Iris Xe GPU. This model comes with either 16/32GB RAM.

Similarities between Infinix Zero Book and the Zero book Ultra

Aside the above, other specifications between the Infinix Zero Book and the Zero Book Ultra remains exactly the same. The series comes in a 15.6-inches LED-backlit display, featuring an IPS panel, 100% sRGB Color Gamut, 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, 400 nits of brightness and up to 178° viewing angle.

The Laptop PC comes in a 323.3 x 211.1 x 16.95mm chassis, and weighs about 1.80KG. It boots Microsoft’s Windows 11 Home Edition out of the box. The Keyboard is a full-size Backlit Chiclet keyboard, paired with an AG Glass multi-touch enabled Touchpad.

The device comes with what Infinix calls Quad-array speakers. The speaker arrangement includes two 1W high-frequency and two 2W low-frequency speakers with DTS audio processing. You are also getting two Microphone inpute with Ai noise cancellation.

Port option on the Zero Book and Zero Book Ultra includes two USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI 1.4 port, an SD slot and a 3.5mm/microphone input combo. There is also a physical fingerprint scanner for enhance security.

Finally, the Infinix Zero Book, and the Zero Book Ultra are both powered by a 70Wh Lithium Polymer battery. Some region will get 100W USB-C charger, while other regions like India will not.

Price and availability

Both the Zero Book, and Zero Book Ultra are already on sales in some regions. The base Zero Book with Intel Core-i5 and 16GB RAM will start at $799, while the base model in the Core-i9 Intel CPU, and 16GB RAM will start from $999.
