Oppo has went through their Twitter account to announce the new colour option of the Oppo A9 2020. The Oppo A9 2020 was launched way back in September this year and during that time, it was launched only in Marine Green and Space Purple colour. About a month ago, a new colour option was introduced which is the Gradient White Teal and now, they have announced another color option which is the Vanilla Mint color.
Unlike the previous colour options they introduced, this one now comes in only one variant which is 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Nothing has really changed except for that new colour, even the price is still intact. It is priced at $278. When the smartphone was launched way back in September, it’s main selling point is the 48MP camera and the 5,000mAh battery.
But now, smartphones with 48MP camera has already dominated the market, so it isn’t a new thing. It also comes with a 6.5 inches HD+ display with a resolution of 720p by 1600, it has a screen to body ratio of 89% making it a thin and premium looking device. It is a waterdrop notch display and a 16mp selfie shooter is sitting right inside the notch cut-out.
At the back of the Smartphone you get a quad rear camera setup which includes a 48mp main shooter, 8mp Ultra wide and two 2mp camera units. It comes with some features such as Ultra Night Mode 2.0 and Portrait Stylizers. But not only that, there is also a Cinematic Video Style feature which Oppo says “can turn your personal videos into theatrical masterpieces using movie-like effects and professional-caliber color grading”. I think this will come in handy for those videographers out there who wishes to take some footage on the go.
It is powered by Snapdragon 665 Soc paired with a 4GB or 8GB RAM and it runs on Android 9.0 pie based on ColorOS 6.0.1 and has 128GB of storage. It has a dedicated Micro SD card slot where you can extend the storage up to 256GB. What is making all of this to function is a 5000mAh battery which supports reverse charging so that you can use it to charge up other devices.
