The Taiwan based smartphone manufacturer, ASUS, has finally announced the launch of the ASUS ROG Phone 6D in the country. It is a gaming smartphone that comes equipped with a Mediatek processor.
ASUS has in so many ways contributed immensely to the development of gaming phones, especially, with the most recent ROG series. Now, let us look at the phone’s specs in detail.
Firstly, in the display, the ASUS ROG Phone 6D offers a 6.78-inch FHD + (2448 x 1080) screen display, a 165Hz refresh rate, an organic EL display and a touch sampling rate of 720Hz.
The ASUS ROG Phone 6D has game-specific finishes with an AirTrigger 6 touch sensor for games, and a GameCool 6 advanced cooling function embedded. It is powered by a 6000mAh capacity battery with 65W fast charging technology.
On the processor; just like we earlier mentioned, the ASUS ROG Phone 6D is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 + 3.2 GHz octa-core CPU, and it boots the Android 12 OS out of the box, though ASUS has promised two OS upgrades and two years of security updates.
On the storage front, the device offers a RAM capacity of 12GB/16GB variants, and internal storage capacity of 256GB. The device is waterproof (IPX4), and has a fingerprint authentication sensor inside the screen.
Coming to the optical structure, the camera lens configuration comprise of a 50-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel triple camera on the rear side, with a front 12-megapixel 27.5mm camera for taking selfies.
For connectivity, the ASUS ROG Phone 6D is 5G communication compatible, has double USB Type-C ports, and an earphone terminal.
