Benco, a brand under China LAVA (INONE) Technology, has just announced its latest entry-level Android smartphone, the Benco S1. This new model features a 6.8-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels, powered by a UNISOC T606 1.6GHz octa-core processor.
It comes with 3GB or 4GB of RAM, and offers 128GB of storage capacity, expandable via microSD card. The main camera is a triple-camera setup with a 48-megapixel sensor, while the front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel sensor.
One notable design feature of the benco S1 is its vertical display with an aspect ratio of 20.5:9, giving it a sleek and modern look. The device also packs a large 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
In terms of operating system, the Benco S1 runs on Android 13 out of the box, and offers a fingerprint sensor (located on the side) as well as faceID.
The Benco S1 is available in two color options, namely Emerald Green and Gemstone Black. It is expected to be released in Asia; Nepal, Thailand and the Philippines, although the exact price has not been disclosed yet.
