The recently released Samsung Galaxy Fold4 is the first on the list. This smartphone was announced on the 10th of August 2022, and it comes with the best technology Samsung can offer on a smartphone as at the time.

Just as the name suggest, the Galaxy Z Fold4 is a foldable smartphone. You can either use it compact 6.2-inches screen as a conventional smartphone, or unfold it into a 7.6-inches tablet size. The device is based on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 from Qualcomm. It is available in a single 12GB with either 256GB, 512GB or 1TB non-expandable storage. 2. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

The Galaxy Z Fold4 might be Samsung most expensive smartphone currently, but if we are talking about an all-round high-end smartphone with balanced hardware and camera performance, but without the folding fantasies, then the S22 Ultra is simply the way to go.

The phone was release in February of 2022, and it is backed by the then Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU. There is also an Exynos 2200 version which is available only in selected regions. The phone has a total of four camera lenses on the rear. Of these four, the primary lens is maxed a 108-megapixel. It has a 10MP Periscope telephoto with a whooping 10x optical zoom, another 10MP telephoto along with a 12MP ultrawide sensor.

3. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is our first tablet on the list. The tablet looks like an elaborated Galaxy S22 Ultra without the camera prowess though. Both devices came in February, and both runs on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with Android 12 out of the box.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra features a mammoth 14.6-inches screen, offering more than impressive 90% screen-to-body ratio. It also comes with higher-end 4-speaker stereo setup tuned by AKG, and there is an 11,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging on the inside.

4. Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max (Dual SIM)

The second phone on the list is Apple’s iPhone 13 Pro Max dual SIM option. With the 13 Pro Max, you are getting a 6.7-inches Super Retina OLED screen, featuring 120Hz, HDR10, Dolby Vision, and up to 1200 nits of brightness.

This is Apple’s current top-of-the-range smartphone, and it is powered by the company’s self-developed A15 Bionic CPU. 5. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G

The Galaxy Z Fold4 might be the latest in the series, but the older generation, the Fold3 5G is still in stores across Nigeria, sold even above 1 million Naira. Currently, the 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM is N1.13M in Nigerian, while the 12GB RAM + 512GB ROM is pegged at N1.18 million.

The phone is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 CPU, offering 4400mAh battery with 25W fast charger. Like the Fold4, this model offers three rear cameras too, but all of them are capped at 12-megapixels.

6. Huawei Mate Xs

Last but not the least is Huawei Mate Xs. On one hand, it is a conventional 6.6-inches smartphone when folded. But unfolding the Mate Xs turns it to a full fledged 8.0-inches tablet smartphone. The brain power is Huawei’s own Kirin 990 5G CPU, offering a single 8GB RAM with a built-in 512GB ROM.
