Samsung is prepping to launch yet another mid-range 5G smartphone in India, the Galaxy F55 5G. This comes shortly after the introduction of the Galaxy M55 5G. Interestingly, rumors suggest the F55 might be a rebranded version of the Galaxy C55 launched in China recently.

The expected specifications of the Galaxy F55 5G point towards a powerful mid-range contender. The phone is likely to boast a large 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for a captivating viewing experience.

Under the hood, it is rumored to pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, offering reliable performance for daily tasks and handling games with ease. Users can expect either 8GB or 12GB of RAM for seamless multitasking, along with 256GB of internal storage. Those who need more space can expand it further using a microSD card, with support for up to 1TB.

Design-wise, Samsung has confirmed a vegan leather finish for the back, which should lend a stylish and premium look to the phone.

The pricing of the Galaxy F55 5G is rumored to start at Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, with prices increasing for higher storage configurations. The phone is expected to go on sale during Flipkart’s Big Saving Days Sale in May, with a possible launch date of May 9th.
