The phone is already listed on Aliexpress.com, but the final sales price is not known yet.

Blackview has released the BL9000 Pro 5G, an upgrade to their earlier BL9000 5G model announced back in the close of 2023. Like it predecessor, the Pro version retains similar durability, but replace some it unique features, building upon the strengths of its predecessor.

Built Tough with Updated OS

Like the BL9000, the Pro features a rugged design with an IP68/IP69K dust/water resistance rating and MIL-STD-810H compliance. This means it can withstand shocks, drops, and extreme temperatures. A massive 8800mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging keeps the phone powered for extended use.

The BL9000 Pro retains the BL9000’s large 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the back sees a significant change. The secondary display is swapped for a FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal camera. This camera is ideal for detecting heat variations, potentially useful for search and rescue or finding pets in low-light conditions.

The phone comes with the latest Android 14 operating system, an upgrade from the BL9000’s Android 13.

Triple Camera System with Thermal Imaging

The camera system also receives an upgrade. The BL9000 Pro sports a triple-camera setup compared to the BL9000’s dual setup. The main sensor remains a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5 with optical image stabilization. While a 13MP wide-angle camera with macro capabilities and the unique FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal camera completes the camera setup..

Other specifications like the 512GB storage and the 50MP front-facing camera are carried over from the BL9000. More details regarding specifications can be found in the full specification section. The phone is already listed on Aliexpress.com, but the final sales price is not known yet.
