Both the itel RS4 and the Tecno Camon 30 are two recent smartphones from Transion Holding. As far as the African smartphone market is concerned, the RS4 is the newest of the two (even though it has been around since April 10). The Camon 30 on the other hand arrived on April 2nd.
Normally I wouldn’t border comparing an itel smartphone with a Camon device, but given the preloaded specs on the RS4 and the target audience of both phones, I decided to write this buying comparison guide for the sake of helping you to know the difference between the two, and to help you decide the best place to invest your money.

Both phones pack a 5000mAh battery, and has the same 45W charging speed. The Tecno Camon 30 runs on the latest Android 14 with Tecno’s HIOS 14 on top, while the itel RS4 utilizes Android 13. Pricing information for the itel RS4 is not yet available. The Tecno Camon 30 starts at N270,000 in Nigeria. As for the model to buy, the ideal choice will depends on your priorities and budget. If a large, high-resolution display and an overall better built quality is your priority, the Tecno Camon 30 might be a better fit.
