So Tecno have released their camera centric devices for 2021. Unlike last year April where there was a massive jump in naming scheme from Camon 12-series all the way to Camon 15, Tecno is not repeating same jump this year. So it is just Camon 17-series, successor to the Camon 16-series of last year.
But as you would expect, there are about three different smartphones under this moniker; there is the standard Camon 17, Camon 17P and the Camon 17 Pro, which is the elephant in the room among the three devices.
But just as their names are different, so are their specs. Unsurprising, Tecno market all these three models as Camon 17-series (that is what there are of course!), and even mentioning certain specs where there are not available. So to avoid buying mistakes, we are placing the Camon 17, 17P and 17 Pro side-by-side to aid your buying decisions.

Comparison Summary; Which is best of the three?
All the three device pack some punch at their price point, but if you are hunting the best of the three, without a single doubt, the 17 Pro takes the win. It is more feature packed, plus it has a faster CPU, better camera specs and come with 25W faster charging, and with dual stereo speakers as well.
There are just two reason I might consider the Camon 17P over the vanilla model; first, design and secondly it has a slightly larger screen panel that uses FHD+ res.
On the other hand, if you are looking for a more compact, and more cost effective model of the three, the vanilla Camon 17 takes the lead. It has almost same specs with the 17P, and even offer 90Hz refresh rating, except for their screen and design differences.
