Doogee V20 to be the first rugged smartphone with dual screen

Doogee’s first 5G smartphone was the V10, which was announced back in the early weeks of August, 2021. Now the company is planning to bring a sequel model to the V10, and it will be called the V20. Now, the Doogee V20 will not only be a dual 5G-enabled smartphone, but it will be the world first rugged smartphone with dual display.

Can you remember Xiaomi’s Mi 11 Ultra? One unique and interesting feature of that device was that it has dual screen. Not dual screen in the order of Samsung’s Galaxy fold-series, but there is this tiny display beside the camera modules on the device, which among it other uses, can serve as a viewfinder for folks who wants to take selfies with the main lens on the device.

This is the similar setup Doogee is planning to introduce on the upcoming V20 5G. Even though we are yet to know all you can possibly do with this little screen, the image above confirms an assumption, that the display will support Always On technology, with multiple customized clock skins, for users needs and style.

It will also offer notification features for incoming calls and messages, and you could also use it to play or pause ongoing music playback, as well as navigating between tracks.

Aside the secondary display option, nothing else is known about the upcoming Doogee V20 5G, not even the main display size, the CPU, or even the camera specs. Although, the rear view show something like a triple camera setup, along with Quad-LED (Dual toned) flash.

Doogee have tagged the phone as coming soon, and the company is currently running a giveaway program for the same. We’ll share more details about the device as soon as we come across them, and if you wish to participate in the give away, you may register your luck by following this link.
