Nio, a Chinese multinational automobile manufacturer headquartered in Shanghai, specializing in designing and developing electric vehicles is set to announced it first smartphone device called the Nio Phone.

We are just ten days from the official announced and now, official press render, and a live photos of the Nio Phone have surfaced online. The photos, which were posted on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, show the phone’s design in detail.

The Nio Phone has a pill-shaped rear camera module that houses three lenses. The flash is located in the upper left corner of the module. The phone also has a centered punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera.

The design of the Nio Phone has drawn comparisons to other BBK-branded smartphones, such as the OnePlus 10 Pro and Realme GT 5. Some users have even created renders of the Nio Phone by combining elements from these two phones.

It is unclear whether the Nio Phone is actually being manufactured by BBK. However, rumors have circulated that the two companies are collaborating on the development of the phone.

The Nio Phone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version chipset and have 12GB of RAM. It will also have 512GB or 1TB of internal storage.

The official announcement of the Nio Phone will take place on September 21.
