FreeYond, a Chinese startup phone maker, today announced its first Android tablet, the FreeYond Pad A5. The tablet is priced under $199 and comes with a 11-inch display, an Unisoc T616 octa-core CPU, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and an expandable storage of up to 1TB.

The tablet also has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 8000mAh battery, and support for dual Nano-SIMs with GSM, 3G, and 4G network support.

It also has four speakers on the side. The table support Bluetooth 5.0, 2G.4G and 5GHz WiFi, while Google Android 13 runs out of the box.
