Samsung have just introduced the Galaxy S21, S21+ and the S21 Ultra smartphone, all of which are the successor to the Galaxy S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra of last year. With this year’s Galaxy S-series, Samsung is not only focusing on hardware capability, but also on the design and overall look of the device, with the major noticeable shift in design happening on the rear camera placement.
Unlike the previously launched Galaxy S-series, in the S21-series, Samsung has seamlessly fit the camera bump right into the device metal frame, making it looking entirely different from previous S-series. The front of the phone have not changed much though; all models still retains their traditional screen sizes, and yes, that centrally punched screen is still used on all models, and 5G network is available on all models as well.
Samsung Galaxy S21
The S21 model is the most compact of the three, coming in a 6.2-inches display and a Dot-notch overhead. Samsung went for a downgraded screen res., from the QHD+ on the S20 model, to a Full-HD+ on the S21. The S21 source processing power from both Sammy’s new Exynos 2100 or Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 CPU and available in either single or dual SIM versions, depending your region and market.
Three Camera modules are used on the S21; this includes a primary 12-megapixel lens with Dual Pixel autofocus, and OIS, a secondary 12-megapixel Ultra Wide Lens with a 120-degree field of view, and finally, a 64-megapixel Telephoto lens with OIS as well.
Samsung Galaxy S21+
The S20+ is a magnified vanilla S21, with the major difference going into the larger 6.7-inches display, as against the 6.2-incher on the standard model. Despite the larger display, the model did not offer QHD+ display either, but retains same 1080 x 2400 pixels on the vanilla models.
But to carter for the larger display, the S21 Plus has a larger 4800mAh battery on the inside, instead of the 4000mAh juice used on the standard model, but both model offers 25W wired and 15W wireless fast charging.
