Huawei P30 Highlights and Overview
The Huawei P30 is a flagship device from Huawei Inc. The device, along with the P30 Pro, runs on the company’s latest in-house Hisilicon Kirin 980 7nm CPU, which offers high-end performance similar to what is attainable on the likes of Snapdragon 855 devices or Samsung owned Exynos 9820 Octa. But since there is a pro version of the P30, there surely would be features cut-down here and there. For starters, the P30 comes with a 6.1-inch OLED display, with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a U-shaped notch overhead. This display is still a bit smaller than the 6.47-inch curved screen on the pro version.
Under the hood, the Huawei P30 is got the aforementioned HiSilicon Kirin 980 octa-core CPU clocked at 2.6GHz, along with Mali-G76 MP10 GPU, along with either 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB storage, expandable up to 1TB via SD card.
On the camera department, you are getting a triple rear sensors, comprising of a 40-megapixel main sensor, an 8MP telephoto sensor and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. Selfies lovers will appreciate this device the most, as it comes with a large 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
Other specifications of the device includes a in-display fingerprint scanner, Android 9.0 (Pie) and FaceID. The P30 comes in either a single or dual SIM options with 4G VoLTE network on both options. There’s Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C interface, and a non-removable 3650mAh battery with support for 22.2W fast charging.
