The OPPO A72 is the higher variant of the A52 announced yesterday. Both phone has similar specification and features, but the A72 has a larger 48-megapixel main camera, instead of the 12-megapixel main sensor used on the A52. It comes in a 6.5-inch unit with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, and has a punch hole notch to the top left corner of the screen.
Specification wise, the OPPO A72 runs on the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 CPU clocked at 2.0GHz, along with an Adreno 610 GPU, 8 GB of RAM and a 128GB internal storage, expandable via SD card up to 256 GB.
There are four camera sensors at the back, comprising of a 48-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and another 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfie, there is a single 16-megapixel sensor upfront, capable of AI portrait, face Beautification and FaceID.
The unit also makes use of a side-placed fingerprint scanner, come with dual Nano-SIMs slot with 4G LTE network on both SIMs. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery and runs on Android 10 out of the box. Other key specifications and silent features of the OPPO A72 are contained in the spec table below.
