Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G is the higher version of Reno5 5G. There are two key difference between the two; Reno5 Pro 5G comes in a 6.55-inches display, and replaced the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon CPU with a 5G Dimensity CPU from Mediatek. The 5.5-inch screen sports 1080 x 2400 pixels, and has a dot-notch on the front. The panel is OLED, and it has 90Hz refresh, with a brightness level spanning from a typical 800 nits to as high as 1100 nits during peak usage, like under direct sunlight.
On the inside, the Reno 5 Pro runs on an octa-core Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ clocked at 2.6GHz, along with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. It also come with either 8GB RAM with 128GB storage or 12GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage which is not expandable on both sides.
As for the optics, you are getting four cameras at the back, which includes a 64-megapixel main lens featuring PDAF and f/1.7 aperture, along with an ultra-wide 8 MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro and 2-MP depth sensors, while the selfie duties is handled by a 32 MP lens upfront.
The device has under display fingerprint scanner, and comes in multiple colors of Starry Night, Aurora Blue, Moonlight Black and Star Wish Red. Battery power comes from a 4350mAh battery with same 65W fast charging, while Android 11 runs underneath Color OS v11.1 out of the box. 3.5mm audio also return to the Reno5 Pro 5G.
