The Samsung Galaxy A8s is the first smartphone from Samsung to come with display-O screen, which houses the front facing camera sensor. It is also the first of all Sammy smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, and the first to run on Google Android 9.0 Pie.
The device comes loaded with a large 6.4-inch Full-HD+ display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, with a notable circle to the top left-handed top of the screen. The cut-out is used instead of the usual notch cut-out seen on the likes of Apple iPhone X.

The Samsung Galaxy A8s comes with a triple rear camera setup, a combination of 24 MP main camera + 10 MP sensor with 2X optical zoom, and a 5 MP depth sensor. There is a rear placed fingerprint scanner with support for Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C.
As mentioned above, the device comes with the latest Android 9.0 Pie based on Samsung One UI interface. The device has support for dual 4G VoLTE SIMs, and fueled by a 3400mAh battery. Other key specifications and silent features of Samsung Galaxy A8s are detailed in the table below.
