Tecno Pova 6 Neo

The Tecno Pova 6 Neo is a more affordable option within the Pova 6 series. While it shares many similarities with the standard Pova 6, it cuts costs in a few areas.

Display: Both phones offer a large 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, but the Neo uses a more conventional IPS LCD panel with a peak brightness of 580 nits, compared to the AMOLED panel with 1300 nits peak brightness found on the Pova 6 and the Pova 6 Pro.

Cameras: The Pova 6 Neo features a dual-lens rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor, a downgrade from the 108MP sensor on the Pova 6. The front-facing camera also takes a resolution hit, dropping from 32MP to 8MP.

Battery & Charging: The Pova 6 Neo boasts a larger 7000mAh battery compared to the 6000mAh unit in the Pova 6. However, fast charging speed is reduced to 33W on the Neo, compared to 70W on the standard Pova 6.

Other Differences: The Pova 6 Neo utilizes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor instead of an under-display sensor like its pricier sibling. While both phones offer 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage options, only the Neo model has 128GB base variant, which is the reason for it cheaper price tag.

Similarities: Both phones are powered by the same MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, run Android 14 with HiOS 14 on top, and have dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, FM radio, and IP53 dust and splash resistance.
