The Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer is the higher variant of the Xiaomi Mi 9, and the direct successor of last year’s Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer. The device was launched alongside Mi 9 and the Mi 9 SE. The Mi 9 Explorer is also known as the Xiaomi Mi 9 Transparent Edition. Yeah, you see, thay name is where the difference between the Mi 9 and the Mi 9 SE lies.
Unlike the standard Mi, the Xiaomi Mi Explorer or (Mi 9 Transparent Edition) as the name suggests, come with a transparent body, which allows you to see certain internal hardwares of the device, like the Snapdragon CPU amongst others.
Another area where the Mi 9 Transparent Edition differs from the standard edition aside the transparent body is in storage option. The Mi 9 Transparent Edition comes with 256GB internal storage and 8/12GB of RAM, while the highest storage on the standard Mi 9 is 8GB RAM paird with 128GB memory.
Other specifications remains the same. That means, you are still getting same triple rear cameras of 48 + 16 + 12 MP Main sensors and a 20MP front facing shooter.
