The Mi CC9 Pro is the latest device from Xiaomi, launched with in November 2019. The device bears many ‘first’ title to it name. For instance, it is the first Xiaomi phone to have a massive 5-rear camera sensors, the first commercially available smartphone to pack a whooping 108-megapixel main camera, as well as the first Mi phone to pack a large 5260mAh battery. It comes with a 6.47-inch AMOLED display, featuring 1080 x 2340, an in-screen fingerprint scanner and a notch above the display.
Specification wise, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, an 8nm octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2GHz, along with Adreno 618 GPU, 6/8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB internal storage. Sadly, you can’t extend the storage via a Micro SD because it doesn’t support one.
As mentioned above, the Mi CC9 Pro has Penta-camera sensors at the back. Of the five sensors; the first lens is a periscope sensor supporting 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and 50x digital zoom. The second lens is a 50mm portrait lens of 12-megapixel with a 1.4 micron pixel size with dual PDAF and f/2.0 aperture. The third lens is a Samsung-made 108-megapixel lens with 1/1.33-inch sensor and f/1.7 aperture. The fourth one is a 20-megapixel super-wide lens with 117-degree field-of-view and the last one is a 2 MP super macro lens with a focal length of 1/5cm.
Security wise, there’s the aforementioned in-screen fingerprint scanner and a 3D AI FaceID along with other Android locks. It also supports dual nano-SIMs with 4G VoLTE network on both SIMs, a large 5260mAh battery with supports for a 30W fast charging, and the Android 9 (Pie), underneath MIUI 11 out of the box.
