Xiaomi Redmi 9A Highlights and Overview

The Xiaomi Redmi 9A is the direct successor of the Redmi 8A of 2019, and also the smaller version of the vanilla Redmi 9. The device is based on the latest Mediatek Helio G25 gaming CPU. It spot a 6.53-inches screen with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution, having a dewdrop notch above the screen, similar to it predecessor.

On the inside, the Redmi 9A comes with the aforementioned Helio G25 octa-core CPU from Mediatek. It has 8-cores @2.0GHz, pegged with PowerVR GE8320 GPU along with 2/3/4/6GB RAM and 32/64/128GB of internal storage, expandable via a dedicated slot.

On the camera department, the device comes with a single 13-megapixel main snapper with an LED flash, and another single 5-megapixel selfie snapper at the front.

Just like it predecessor, the device does not come with a fingerprint scanner, but users can rely on it built-in face identification features and other default Android locks.

Compensating that absence, there is a slot for dual nano SIMs with 4G LTE network on both SIM, and yes, there is Android 10 with MIUI 12 out of the box. As for the battery, the Xiaomi Redmi 9A has a large 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging.
