Hisense after launching the Hisense A6L, they went ahead to launch another smartphone dubbed the Hisense A5. The major selling point of this smartphone is the e-ink display that it has. I will definitely recommend this smartphone for students because it provides users with an easy and distraction-free reading. That it why Hisense ditches an IPS LCD display or an OLED screen for the e-ink variant.
As for the pricing and availability, the Hisense A5 is presently on reservation at JD.com fo ¥1199 ($169) for the 4GB+32GB version. The 4GB+64GB version is also on reservation for ¥1499 ($212).
It comes with a 5.8 inches HD+ display which has a resolution of 720 by 640 pixels, if you are not a fan of big screen phones, this device is for you. The Hisense A5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC paired with a 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage. It runs on Android 9 pie and the phone is expandable up to a whopping 256GB via a microSD slot, it has a single SIM slot and a dedicated microSD slot.
For camera, this device uses a single rear camera which is a 13MP main camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture that is located at the top left corner of the back panel with an LED light underneath. On the front, it has a 5MP camera with f/1.9 aperture. Other features includes 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm audio jack, an HiFi sound system, Bluetooth, and several others.
What is keeping the light on is a huge 4000mAh battery with 5V/2A fast charge, the device also supports USB OTG function and so can be used to charge a second device.
