Along with the Magic5, HONOR also announced the Magic5 Pro model at the ongoing Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona. The new high-end flagship smartphone boasts three (3) 50-megapixel camera lenses on the rear, offering OIS on two, out of the three sensors.
The main snapper is using a large 1/1.12 inch sensor, and it has an f/1.6 aperture, along with multi-directional PDAF as well as Laser AF. Flipping to the front, you’ll be greeted with two selfie lenses that comprise a 12MP + 3D Depth sensor.
The HONOR Magic5 Pro runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SM8550-AB 3.2GHz octa-core CPU, just like its non-Pro model. It is backed by Adreno 740 GPU, 8, 12, or 16GB, and either 256 or 512 Gigs of internal storage. It is also waterproofed and dustproof with an IP68 rating and has stereo speakers with a fingerprint authentication sensor placed under the screen.
The full camera configuration of the HONOR Magic5 Pro includes a 50 million pixel main camera with 23mm 1/1.12 F1.6 OIS, a 50 million pixel ultra-wide-angle camera with 13mm F2.0, and a 50 million pixel telephoto camera with 90mm optical 3.5x F3.0 OIS. The camera has an 8×8 dTOF and Flicker sensor, and it has received a top evaluation score of 152 from DxOMark.
The HONOR Magic5 Pro comes in five colors: Meadow Green, Black, Glacier Blue, Coral Purple, and Orange. The European pricing for the MAgic5 Pro starts from €1199 for the 12GB/512GB RAM version. The smartphone is expected to offer an impressive user experience. This should be made possible by Google’s latest Android 13 OS and Honor’s MagicOS 7.1
