Honor, a technology company, has released a new teaser for its upcoming Magic Vs foldable smartphone. The device, which has already been available in China, will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2023, starting on February 27th.

In the teaser, Honor compares its Magic Vs smartphone with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4. The video depicts a football match being watched on both devices, with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 running out of battery at a crucial moment, while the Honor Magic Vs continues to function. The teaser highlights the longer battery life of the Magic Vs and the larger display size of 7.9 inches compared to the 7.6 inches of the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

The Magic Vs will be part of Honor’s new Magic series, which will be presented at the MWC 2023. The prices and other features of the Magic Vs will be announced at the event. However, in China where the device has been on sales, the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM starts at CNY 7,499, and equivalent of 1,100 US Dollars.

Recall that the Honor Magic Vs was introduced in China back on the 23rd of November 2022. The 7.9-inches foldable device came with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4nm CPU, and it boot Android 12 with Magic UI 7 out of the box. In comparison to the August 10 2022 Galaxy Fold4, the Magic Vs has a larger 5000mAh battery with a fast 66W charger, as against the 4400mAh battery, and the the slower 25W charger on it Samsung counterpart.
