Infinix, a popular smartphone and electronics brand, is all set to launch the Infinix Hot 30i series this March. Alongside this exciting new smartphone, Infinix will also be unveiling a new notebook, the Infinix Y1 Plus Neo, which will be a variant of the company’s Y1 Plus that was unveiled in India recently.

The Infinix Hot 30i promises to arrive with an iconic design, featuring a glass and leather finish on the back, a huge display, and a large memory. The official images of the smartphone reveal a sleek and stylish design that tends to appeal to midrange smartphone enthusiasts.

The Infinix Hot 30i is expected to have a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 500 nits. It will be powered by the Helio G37 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging. It will offer 6 GB of extended RAM, 128 GB of storage, and run on XOS-based Android 12. Its rear shell will have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and an LED flash.

In addition, Infinix is reportedly working on a high-end phone that supports 260W charging. This could potentially be a part of the Zero-series lineup, but rumors suggest that Infinix may replace the Zero-lineup with the GT series. In fact, the brand may launch two GT-branded phones in March or April this year, according to reports.

Recall that the current smartphones under the HOT lineup are the Infinix Hot 20 series. The Hot 20 series also came with an ‘i’ model, but it was based on MediaTek Helio G25 CPU. Although the model came with the same 6.6-inches screen, a 5000mAh battery, and Google Android 12 based on XOS v10.

It seems like the major difference between the current Hot 20i and the upcoming Hot 30i will lie in their design, CPU, and camera configuration. But we do hope to get to know more about this device within the coming weeks.
