Infinix Hot 9 accompanies Hot 9 Pro to India, but no Helio G80

Just some hours ago, we told you about a new Infinix smartphone model seen on Geekbench with a more powerful Mediatek Helio G80 CPU, which we guessed could be the processor powering the Hot 9 Pro. Well, the Hot 9 Pro is now official in India, and there is no Helio G80. In fact, the Hot 9 Pro is powered by the Helio P22 chip, which is still a worthy upgrade over the Helio A25 SoC used in the standard version.

Aside the CPU, another major change in the new Hot 9 Pro is the introduction of a larger 48-megapixel lens, which replaces the 13-megapixel snapper in the vanilla Hot 9, and yes, the rear LED flash is now 4, while every other aspect remain same as the standard Hot 9.

Talking about the standard Hot 9, some of it key specs includes a 6.6-inch punch hole display with 720 x 1600 pixels, the use of a Mediatek Helio A25 octa-core processor @1.8GHz with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, up to 4GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.

Both phones has a 5000mAh battery, support dual nano-SIMs and run on the latest Google Android 10 underneath XOS v6 Dolphin.
