The 5G variant of the Infinix Note 12 Pro, which was announced in India few weeks ago, is now official in Nigeria. The device takes it specification cues from the Note 12 G88 model, but removed it 4G-only Helio G88 CPU, and slammed a Dimensity 810 8-core CPU from MediaTek, making the device both 4G and 5G compactible.
Like the G88 model, the Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G comes in a 6.7-inches AMOLED screen featuring 1080 x 2400 pixels and an IPS panel that is protected by Corning Gorilla 3. The G88 version does not have Gorilla Glass 3 though.
On the inside, the Note 12 Pro 5G is powered by the aforementioned MediaTek MT6833P, aka Dimensity 810. The 8-core CPU is clocked at 2.4GHz, and it is paired with Mali-G57 graphic processor. As for the storage option, you are getting a single 8GB RAM with 128-Gigs of ROM.
Infinix has also preloaded features that enhances smooth usability of the phone. For example, the Note 12 Pro 5G has an inbuilt 9-layers Graphene Cooling System to ensure that the phone stays cool even during demanding usage.
Coming to the camera specifications, the Note 12 Pro 5G is given a 108-megapixel primary camera on its rear, something similar to the Note 12 VIP. It has two other auxiliary lenses on it rear, comprising of a 2-megapixel depth and a third 2-megapixel macro shooters respectively.
The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and available in Black and White colors. It comes in 164.7 x 76.9 x 8 mm body. Within this body, there is a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charger, taking the total weight to 188 grams.
The Operating System (OS) is Google Android 12, underneath XOS 10.6. The Note 12 Pro 5G also comes with dual DTS speakers, and it support dual Nano-SIMs with both 4G/5G network support. It is already listed on the company’s Nigerian website, and may start selling within the coming week. Sadly pricing is not known as at when this post was written.
