Infinix S5 Pro to come with XOS 6.0 Dolphin based on Android 10

The Infinix S5 Pro was supposed to be launched in India on the 18th of February, but postponed due to the escalation of the Novel Coronavirus epidemic. Now the device has been rescheduled for official announcement on the 6th of April 2020, and will be accompanied by a new OS from the company duped XOS 6.0 Dolphin.

According to reports, the XOS 6.0 Dolphin will be based on the latest Android 10.0. Few optimization and features to expect in the new Infinix OS includes Social Turbo, Wi-Fi Share, Game mode, Smart panel as well as Digital well-being, among other Android 10 optimizations and features.

Infinix has officially confirmed that the XOS 6.0 will be coming with S5 Pro out of the box, which means, subsequent phones from the company like the upcoming S6 and even the Hot 9, could launch with same OS out of the box.

Some current Infinix phones running XOS 5.5 are also believed to get updated to the new OS, but we don’t know how soon this update may come. As for the S5 Pro, the device is believed to come with same design with the recently announced Tecno Camon 15 Pro, bearing a motorized pop-up front facing camera.

If current rumors are true, then the S5 Pro should come with a triple camera setup at the back, and should be powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio CPU with upto 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The launch date is 6th of March, and the device will be visiting the India market first, and is expected to be priced below Rs. 10000.
