Along with the X Fold 2 and the Pad 2 comes Vivo’s X Flip, a Flip-able classy Android smartphone with a fairly large 6.74-inches screen. The device has a small and compact 3-inches screen when folded, but becomes a 6.74-inches when unfolded. The main screen is AMOLED, and it has 120Hz refresh.

The device has a soft light makeup mirror, which promises a unique and convenient experience, replicating the use of a physical makeup box. The upper half of the screen acts as a clear mirror, while the lower half offers a variety of makeup functions, just like having a real makeup box at your fingertips.

In addition to its innovative design, the vivo X Flip is also built to last. It has obtained the world’s first TUV Rhineland certification for achieving a folding life of 500,000 times. This means you can fold and unfold the device multiple times without worrying about durability or performance.

Under the hood, the vivo X Flip is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with 12GB of RAM, along with either 256 or 512GB ROM. It also comes with a 50MP rear camera with OIS and Zeiss T* coating, and a 32MP front camera on both the inside and outside of the phone for capturing selfies..

Connectivity-wise, the X Flip supports 5G SA/NSA and dual 4G VoLTE for fast and reliable internet speeds. It also has USB Type-C audio and stereo speakers for an enhanced audio experience. The side-mounted fingerprint sensor provides quick and secure unlocking, adding an extra layer of convenience and security.

The device is available in three stunning colors – Diamond Black, Purple, and Silk Gold. As for pricing, the base model with 12GB+256GB memory option is priced at 5,999 yuan or $872, while the 12GB RAM +512GB ROM model will set you back at 6,699 yuan, an equivalent of $974. The phone will go on full sales starting from April 28, but folks in China can already preorder the device.
