New iPad Pro (2021) Models Launched With Apple’s M1 SoC As Promised

Just as was leaked a few weeks ago, the iPad Pro which was launched at the Spring Loaded event features Apple M1 SoC, a mini-LED display, and more exciting features. iPad Pro comes with about eight-core design which was embedded to give up to seventy-five (75) percent swift CPU performance. This enhanced design that aids the CUP performance can not be seen on the previously launched iPads. In terms of Graphics performance, iPad Pro is over one thousand five hundred (1,500) times quicker than the first-generation iPad.

Interestingly, this Apple iPad Pro was made to easily support PS5 and Xbox controllers. In addition to the newly added features, there is an avenue for supporting Thunderbolt via the available USB Type-C port. iPad Pro also has ProMotion displays and about 2TB internal storage configuration that is gallant to save and hold a lot of files and applications.

Now to the camera department, the new iPad Pro features a decent 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens on the front. iPad Pro has a dual rear camera setup that houses a 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a 10-megapixel ultra-wide + LiDAR scanner respectively. the embedded M1 SoC brings about the presence of the Smart HDR 3 feature. You should also know that the rear camera setup supports 2x optical zoom that allows you to zoom through things quickly.

Looking into the specifications properly, the new iPad Pro has about two available RAMs and about five internal storage options. That is to say, the  8GB RAM has 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of internal storage options while the 16GB RAM has 1TB and 2TB internal storage options.

The new iPad Pro models have available 11-inch and 12.9-inch display sizes to suit what the user or buyer needs.  The iPad Pro with11-inch was supported by a Liquid Retina display that supports ProMotion and it has about 2388×1668 pixels resolution. While the iPad Pro with 12.9-inch has a Liquid Retina XDR mini-LED display that also supports the ProMotion feature and it has about 2732×2048 pixels resolution.

Other exciting features include; HDR, Dolby Vision support, 5G certification, support Magic Keyboard, Pro Display XDR at 6K resolution, support second-generation Apple Pencil, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and Bluetooth version 5.0.

As they both have different screen sizes is enough reason for them to have different dimensions and weights. The iPad Pro with 11-inch has dimensions of 247.6 x 178.5 x 5.9 mm and weighs about 470 grams while the iPad Pro with12.9-inch display has dimensions of 280.6 x 214.9 x 6.4 mm and weighs just 685 grams.
