iTel has officially announced its new P40 4G smartphone in Nigeria featuring 6000mAh battery, 6.6-inches screen, up to 7GB RAM, all priced under N60,000. For the price, the P40 comes with impressive features, including a large battery that supports fast charging, and a modern rear camera design.
As mentioned above, the iTel P40 features a 6.6-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. The phone is powered by the UNISOC SC9863A SoC, an 8-core CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, along with PowerVR GE8322 GPU.
It is available in two storage options; 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, or 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM. Both RAM options can be expanded with an additional 3GB RAM through memory Fusion Technology.
The iTel P40 also boasts a 13-megapixel main lens and an auxiliary VGA sensor, along with an LED flash on the rear. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie sensor. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner on the rear for security purposes, and it support FaceID as well.
The battery on the iTel P40 is a fairly large 6000mAh, and it support 18W fast charging. This ensures that the phone lasts long enough for extended usage without worrying about running out of battery. It promises that a single charge can keep the P40 running for 3-days.
The phone also supports dual Nano-SIMs with a 4G LTE network on both SIMs, making it an excellent option for people who need a phone that supports two SIM cards. The device runs on Google Android 12 (Go Edition) out of the box, and it is available in Force Black, Dreamy Blue, Luxurious Gold. For pricing, the iTel P40’s Recommended Retail Price (RRP) is N59,900 in Nigeria.
