The Tecno Spark 5-series launched in Ghana on the 4th of May is set to arrive in Nigeria on May 12. The series includes the vanilla Spark 5 and the Spark 5 Air, both of which are the successors of the Spark 4 and the Spark 4 Air of 2019.

The duo smartphones brings series of improvements and innovations over their respective predecessors. For example, the Spark 5 comes with all new triple camera setups at the back and a refreshed display, which introduce the use of a punch hole notch display, instead of the dewdrop notch used in the older Spark.
Where it get even more surprising is in the Spark 5 Air, which has a freshly introduced 7-inch display instead of the 6.1-inch screen used in the aging Spark 4 Air. This places the Spark 5 Air head to head with the Infinix Hot 9 Play with similar screen size.
Another feature that might interests you is the presence of a larger 5000mAh built-in battery, and yes, Android 10 with HiOS v6 is also preloaded out of the box. Other specs of the latest Spark-series include the use of Mediatek Helio CPUs, presence of a rear placed fingerprint scanner, and dual SIM support with 4G LTE networks on both SIMs.
The only matter that is yet to be settled is regarding the pricing of the Spark 5-series in Nigeria. However, if the device’ pricing in Ghana is anything to go by, then it should not exceed 50k mark in Nigeria. But the launch date is 3-days away, and we should find out the actual pricing in Nigeria by then. By the way, the launch event is taking place on twitter, via Tecno’s official page.
