Xiaomi has just launched the Mi Band 8 Pro, a fitness tracker with a host of new features and improved battery life. The wearable arrives along with the Xiaomi 14-inches Pad 6 Max tablet, along with few other Xiaomi devices.
The Mi Band 8 Pro features a 1.74-inch AMOLED display with a smoother 60Hz refresh rate and 16.7 million colors. This is exactly an inch larger than the previous Band 7 Pro announced few months back.
However, the Pad 8 Pro is light and even notably slimmer than it predecessor, weighing in at just 22.5g and measuring 9.99mm thick. The 7 Pro weighs 20.5 grams, but has a thicker 11mm frame.
The Mi Band 8 Pro also offers an enhanced user interface with improved widget functions and more comprehensive information presentation. It supports over 150 sports modes and offers 100+ watch faces.
In terms of health management, the Mi Band 8 Pro tracks various aspects such as heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress, breathing training, scientific sleep monitoring, and women’s health. It also supports multi-functional NFC for payments and comes with the Xiaomi voice assistant.

The wearable is water-resistant up to 5ATM and has a battery life of up to 14 days. It is available in two versions: a TPU wristband variant, priced at 399 yuan (or USD 54), and a leather wristband option, priced at 499 yuan (or USD 68).
