ZTE and it Nubia subbrand has just unveiled the Red Magic 8S Pro, a new gaming smartphone that is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset. The phone also features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, 16GB of RAM, and a 6000mAh battery with 165W fast charging support.
The Red Magic 8S Pro is available in a variety of configurations, with prices starting at CNY 3999 (~$559). The top-of-the-line model, the Red Magic 8S Pro+ Transparent with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, is priced at CNY 7499 (~$1,049).
The phones have a special cooling system called ICE 12.0 magic cooling. It has a built-in fan and air duct to keep the phone cool.
With features like 3D ice-level dual-pump, large VC liquid cooling, graphene under the screen, and multiple cooling layers, the phone’s surface temperature decreases by 17°C.
They also have a gaming chip called “Red Core R2” that makes the shoulder keys, vibrations, game lighting effects, and sound effects better.
The phones have fast touch triggers, a responsive touch screen, a strong motor for feedback, and powerful speakers. They support Snapdragon Sound technology for high-quality audio with low delay.
The cameras on the phones include a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor for detailed photos and a 16MP under-screen front camera for selfies.
The RedMagic 8S Pro has a big 6000mAh battery that charges quickly with 80W fast charging. It can reach 100% charge in just 35 minutes.
There is also a special edition called the RedMagic 8S Pro+ Bumblebee Super Warriors Collectors Edition.
It is customized with Transformers-Bumblebee themes and comes with extra accessories like a 165W gallium nitride charger, custom badges, custom card pins, a fast charging data cable, a magnetic gaming protective case, a special radiator, and a custom Bumblebee theme.
